Summer Fun Includes Roller Skiing Here are some pictures of Ken & Ben on the Ramsey Hill Aug. 26th. I make sure they don't get run over by an unsuspecting motorist and then transport them back down for a quick recovery before doing it again. Today I remembered the camera! (Note: this is a slide show - there are 17 pics. - enjoy!).

Ken
8/7/10 Congrats Barney! This week marks one year since Barney started working out with the
team. Noticeably lighter, faster, and dare I say more spunky, I wonder
what this year has in store for him....
8/7/10 Get Well Soon Britta!
Britta broke a bone in her foot while playing ultimate Frisbee. This is a total bummer but
Britta is expected to mend in time for Fall training and SKI SEASON!
Team Gogebic: All ages,
all abilities, all weather.
No excuses.

Dryland Training on Thursdays for now For the summer Ken is leading us in structured sessions once per week, on Thursdays, 4:00 - 5:30
at Bluff Valley Park in Bessemer. These are focused training sessions
utilizing hill bounding, agility drills, and calisthenics to develop
ski-specific strength, appropriate for ages 12 and up. Younger children can play at the park while the adults work out. We are still at an early stage, so feel free to start now, even if you haven't been before.

TG Friends Kayak the Apostles July 14-16 Jackie, Rich & Michelle toured Sand and York Islands
in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore with fellow TG teammates
Britta and Rachel as their guides. Britta and Rachel work for Whitecap
Kayak here in Ironwood. Don't forget Whitecap and their affiliate Steep
Creek Outfitters offers discounts to Team Gogebic members. Go there for
breakfast or lunch if you want some yummy healthy food too!
