Free trail passes and equipment are provided by ABR during these sessions. Please arrive early if you need equipment.

We will have NO formal Sunday session this year.

Hey Jackie,
Was just looking on the website of the Book Across the Bay, and their next price hike is Feb. 10-19, then race day of course goes up $5.00. Right now (until the 10th) it’s $10 kids, and $15 adults. Maybe team Gogebic would be interested in this info.

1/18/10 - Keweenaw Nordic Festival
Ken, LeeAnn & I accompanied Ben & Britta to the Keweenaw Nordic Festival in Houghton last weekend so they could race in the Jr. Olympic qualifiers. We had a good time eating out great Asian food, visited with Nicole & Steve and TG alumni Sean Beckman, and of course, supporting the racers. Both youth did well, learning alot about racing and facing the hills and the competition. There are a few photos in Photo Gallery.

Did you know we have 12 grade school children on Team Gogebic? They are all real troopers, eager to learn and willing to try new challenges. So far we have learned some drills, had a one-legged glide contest, played tag and had a three-legged race. After learning how to go down hills, both fast and slowly, we completed the Hemlock Trail (3K)!

TG Rental Gear
Youth members can rent equipment from the Team for the season. You then take it home with you, take care if it, and can ski on it any day of the week. $30 for one set, $50 for both skate and classical equipment. Contact us any time to come over and get fitted.
We are GIVING away old used waxless classical skis for use as rock skis, especially good for those first snows when we are practically skiing on dirt. Used boots to match, first come, first served, while supplies last.
