Summer Schedule
Trail Running Tuesdays
Tuesdays. at 4:00 pm at Wolverine Ski Trails. Ken is facilitating these sessions with the focus on ski-specific strength and endurance, i.e. natural hill intervals, hill bounding, learning from
feedback such as heart rate, pace, and perceived effort. Anyone wanting
to join in should be prepared to run 4 to 6 miles on trail with poles (we can provide if needed). You should have a heart rate monitor or a wrist watch with lap functions to assist in tracking your progress.
Dryland Training Thursdays
For the summer Ken will be leading us in structured sessions once
per week, on Thrusdays, 4:00 - 5:30
at Bluff View Park in Bessemer. These are focused training sessions
utilizing hill bounding, agility drills, and calisthenics to develop
ski-specific strength, appropriate for ages 12 and up. Younger children can play at the park while the adults work out.
